Dear Parents and Carers,

Please find attached the information for our fabulous Summer Fayre on the 14th July at 3.15pm. There are lots of exciting stalls and activities planned.

FABs are still desperately looking for volunteers for the event and if they cannot find enough volunteers, the event may be at risk of not being able to be held. If you could volunteer for the event, please contact Felicity on 07876 681453 ASAP.

Dear Parents / Carers

Government guidance that came out last year directs that schools ‘should deliver a school week of at least 32.5 hours by September 2023’. Our current school day is slightly short of this which means that from September, we will be having to extend the school day by a small amount.

The timings will therefore be as follows:

Reception and Nursery

The gates will open at 8.40am for parents / carers to come and wait outside their classrooms.

Class teachers will open the doors at 8.45am for the school day to start. Children MUST be at school by 8.45am as this is the new start time.

Gates will open at 3.05pm.

The school day will finish at 3.15pm which is when doors will open and children will be handed over to parents / carers.

Year 1 & Year 2

The gates will open at 8.40am for parents / carers to come and wait on the lower school (KS1) playground.

A whistle will be blown at 8.45am for the school day to start. Children will line up in their classes and be taken into school. This is when the school day will start and children MUST be here by this time.

Gates will open at 3.05pm.

The school day will finish at 3.15pm which is when doors will open and children will be handed over to parents / carers.

Year 3, 4, 5 & 6

The gates will open at 8.45am for parents / carers to come and wait on the upper school (KS2) playground.

A whistle will be blown at 8.50am for the school day to start. Children will line up in their classes and be taken into school. This is when the school day will start and children MUST be here by this time.

Gates will open at 3.10pm.

The school day will finish at 3.20pm which is when the children will be brought out to be discharged.

If you do have any questions regarding these changes, please do speak with your child’s class teacher.

Yours faithfully
