Activity is planned between Monday 18th to Friday 22nd December and Wednesday 27th to Friday 29th December.
Funded by the Department for Education, HAF provides holiday activities that come with a meal during the school Easter, summer, and Christmas holidays. HAF is FREE to those school-aged children and young people (Reception to Year 11) who receive benefits-related free school meals. Each eligible HAF participant can be booked on up to 4 HAF places, with one place available each day.
Whether children might enjoy sport, drama, dance, creating computer games or the variety of a playscheme, there is something for everyone. We also have some family activities, such as cooking workshops or lunchtime activity clubs.

How to help ensure your families benefit - top tips:
- Use the information above and the attached promotional assets to help make your families aware of Winter HAF - we love seeing this appear in school newsletters, on school websites, and via social media, or hearing families received a Ping or your equivalent. If this can also be targeted to students receiving benefits-related free school meals, this is really helpful.
- Can use ask your parent groups to share in class WhatsApps or on their social media sites?
- We've heard of some schools inviting families in to be supported to use their computer facilities to place bookings!
- Some families struggle to understand the information or use booking tools. Where possible please talk to these families and offer support. Alternatively, direct them to the Family Hubs for some hands-on help:
